Lagree Fitness is the most innovative and effective approach to full body conditioning out there: always challenging but seriously addictive!
Developed by LA-based celebrity trainer, Sebastien Lagree, each session works the entire body and is specifically designed to strengthen the core, burn fat, build lean muscle without bulk, improve endurance and jump-start your metabolism. We emphasise slow, controlled movement for maximum muscle recruitment, with minimum rest between sets to keep the heart rate elevated. Expect to burn up to 600 calories per session and to continue burning calories between classes, since Lagree Fitness maximises EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption). In other words, your body becomes a fat burning machine for up to 24 hours after you’ve trained!
At the heart of Lagree Fitness is the Megafomer, designed and developed by Sebastien Lagree. Exclusive to Physicore in Sydney, the Megaformer is an advanced and redesigned twist on the traditional Pilates reformer that allows for a far greater range of compound movements, full range of motion and quick transition times between exercises in order to burn calories and build lean muscle, safely and effectively.The combinations of exercises possible on the Megaformer ensure you will never do the same routine twice, get bored or plateau. Your muscles will be kept guessing, meaning you can always expect 50 minutes of dynamic, high intensity training, optimising results in the shortest possible timeframe.
Our Megaformer Basics workout adopts the same principles as the Megaformer class, but at a gentler pace. Ideal for clients new to Physicore or anyone looking to perfect technique and build confidence. You can still expect an intense, full body workout that will leave your muscles burning!
